I am here to walk with you…

Hello, my name is Brianne Jewell…most people who know me would tell you that I am a very down to earth, compassionate, trustworthy and energetic person.  I have a unique ability to connect with others, which has lead me to where I am today.  As a therapist, I am here to walk with you into the unknown, to listen to your experiences, life changes, tragedies and joys; endeavoring to view life through your eyes…to listen, without judgement, to what it’s like to walk in your shoes…to offer support, a listening ear and to strategize together ways to grow, cope and continue your journey forward in life.

I believe you have a life worth living   -

I believe it is healthy to ask and accept help.  It takes a lot of courage to walk into therapy or treatment of any kind and own your story.   I believe in looking at the whole-person.  You are more than a label or a diagnosis.  I will support you through the recovery process.  Through various treatment interventions we will work on cultivation of a support system, self-care, coping skills and overall life balance.  I use an eclectic approach in therapy and tailor treatment to your individual needs and symptoms.  I have experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY) and Somatic Experiencing (SE). I utilize these interventions through a strengths-based lens, viewing you as the expert on your own life with an emphasis in self-determination.

I believe you can live YOUR authentic life

full of hope, joy and peace.

I have worked in the Behavioral Health field for over 15 years. I grew up around a lot of mental illness and addiction - I remember walking into my first Psychology class, as if it were yesterday and realizing this is my passion.  I  have worked with individuals and families of all ages from children to geriatrics.  I have facilitated many individual, family and group therapy sessions.  I have in depth experience in crisis intervention and working with people during some of their most difficult times in life.

My journey with yoga

I fell in love with Yoga in 2010 and have been practicing regularly for the last 13 years.  As my yoga journey has progressed, I have found that through grounding, breath and movement we are able to connect to the Mind, Body & Soul– which can lead to a deeper healing.  I completed my 200 Yoga Teacher Training in 2016 and then completed my TCTSY certification in March 2021.  TCTSY has been shown to be effective for survivors of trauma and those struggling with Complex PTSD.

Striving for health & balance…

I am married to a great man and have been blessed with 3 beautiful children.  My hobbies include yoga, long dinners with my family & friends, traveling, being outdoors & relaxing.  I truly strive to practice what I believe including self-care, healthy balance and boundaries, both personally and professionally.  I believe this is crucial so that I can be fully present to support you.  I would be honored to be a part of your healing journey!
